Patrick Ewing Named Head Coach of Georgetown Hoyas….

The Georgetown Hoyas has now officially announced that Patrick Ewing will be the new head coach. Ewing a former Hoya played under John Thompson Jr. during 1981-85 season and lead the team to three National Championship games winning the title in 84. Ewing was currently serving as a assistant coach for the Charlotte Hornets. However he’s now wanted over at Georgetown and will not finish the season with the Hornets.

John Thompson III was recently fired due to a 5-13 record in the Big East.
