According to Dailymail.com Iran is now planning to take action against the U.S. travel ban. “Iran said it would take ‘reciprocal action’ in response to the U.S. Supreme Court allowing a partial implementation of President Trump’s travel ban on six Muslim-majority countries.” Iran believes this is discrimination against Muslims. Although the lower U.S. courts disagree with the travel ban by blocking Trump’s executive order issued on March 6, which would have included a 90 day ban on people from countries including Iran and Libya and a 120 day ban on all refugees.
But the Supreme Court on Monday ruled there would be a partial restriction in place on refugees.
Iran’s U.N. Ambassador Gholamai Khoshroo also state that Rex Tillerson (U.S. Secretary of State) plan to intervene with Iran’s government is a “flagrant violation’ of the 1981 Algiers Accords in which the United States pledged ‘not to intervene, directly or indirectly, politically or militarily, in Iran’s internal affairs.’
The officials did not elaborate on how they plan to take action but we shall see. What do you guys think? Leave a comment below.
