ESPN Host under fire for calling Trump a “White Supremacist” weeks after comparing cops to “Slave Patrols”


ESPN Host Jemele Hill is now under fire for controversial comments about President Trump. One her twitter page the host described President Trump as “a white supremacist”. The sports commentator started the social media beef after learning of Kid Rock’s potential Senate run. Hill wrote, “Donald Trump is a white supremacist who has largely surrounded himself with other white supremacist. The height of white privilege is being able to ignore his white supremacy, because it’s of no threat to you. Well, it’s a threat to me. Trump is the most ignorant, offensive president of my lifetime. His rise is a direct result of white supremacy. Period.” She also went on to call him a ‘Bigot’.

The comments was quickly taken down but not before it received backlash and even some praise.

ESPN PR also stated the remarks were inappropriate, uncalled for, and not a reflection of the network views.
